Law Enforcement Environmental Planning Association of California (L.E.E.P.A.C.)
II. Bylaws
| 1st Article: | Law Enforcement Environmental Planning Association is a Public Benefit Corporation. |
| 2nd Article: | The purpose of L.E.E.P.A.C. is to (1) standardize security requirements and information for environmental impact reports, special reports and other planning projects; (2) to educate and train members; and (3) to enhance networking and share resources with other law enforcement agencies. |
| 3rd Article: | The agent for service of process shall be Pamela Harlan, Roseville Police Department, 1051 Junction Blvd., Roseville, CA 95678. |
| 4th Article: | Executive Board of Directors will include four (4) positions consisting of members in good standing. |
| 5th Article: | The Executive Board are elected positions. The Executive Board Offices will consist of (1) President; (2) Vice-President; (3) Secretary; and (4) one Member at Large. Each Board Member is entitled to one vote. In case a vacancy was to occur on the Executive Board, the remaining Board Members will appoint an interim replacement. The President will cast the tie-breaking vote if necessary.
The Board shall appoint, at times as necessary, an Advisor. The Advisor is not a voting board member. The Advisor shall consult with the Board on matters relating to the operation of the Association, current trends in CPTED, planning, and related issues, and other matters as directed by the Executive Board. Committee Chairpersons will be appointed annually by the newly elected Executive Board. The following committee positions are available to be filled annually by the Executive Board. Other committees may be established, as necessary, by the Executive Board:

| 6th Article: | The election process will begin with nominations at the last meeting of the LEEPAC operating year. The slate, listing tentative officers, will be mailed to all members prior to the May meeting, which is when voting will take place. Each term will last for one year, from July to the following June, consistent with the membership terms.
The election process may be conducted via email, upon vote of the Executive Board. The election committee, consisting of three (3) members, shall be appointed by the Executive Board. A member of the Executive Board shall not serve on the election committee. |
| 7th Article: | Dues will be payable each year in June with a fiscal year of July 1 to June 30. Individual memberships are available for $40.00 and are non-transferable. Membership status is as follows:

| 8th Article: | L.E.E.P.A.C. general membership meetings shall be held at least once per quarter, at a location and time to be determined by the President and/or meeting host.
The Executive Board will meet at least once per year, and as necessary when approved by the Board. |
| 9th Article: | In order to make a change, addition, or deletion to the existing bylaws, there must be a 2/3 vote of those members present. |
